Hey all, Shin here with another UNION update!

Introducing the final character introduced in the story update of version 0.2- the Speedy Sorcerer, Raizu!

An ace student attending Valdan's Magitechnology Academy, Raizu is a cheerful apprentice mage to the elderly sorcerer Professor Korzo, a mage whom the Wanderer is searching for to help with their memories. Being the first mage the Wanderer encounters, she is a very valuable asset to combat, being able to produce mana fields that boost speed and defense. Her mana is drawn to lightning, and thus she has a strong affinity for lightning-based spells. She casts powerful, precise spells with the proficiency of a young master and the speed of the lightning she wields. Though, she can be reckless with her powers,  excitably slinging lightning balls without properly assessing the situation first. Professor Korzo has often stated that it is not her skills or learning that are in question, but her maturity.

As an ace student, Raizu is proficient in many magical techniques and practices, one of which is another new mechanic introduced in 0.2: Alchemy! As you journey throughout the world, you may come across remnants of monsters you slay. These remnants can be brought to the Valdan Academy, where Raizu is waiting to teach you all about alchemy (once you meet her). Remnants from slain monsters can be brought together and used to create new items not normally found around the world, such as the Elixir Bomb, which deals magical damage to all enemies, and the Monster Repellent, which keeps monsters from attacking you for a period of time. In addition to these remnants, monsters may also drop valuable items, such as Relics. Keep an eye out for those drops!

And with that, the major characters and features of UNION v0.2 have been revealed! The demo is nearly complete, just a few tweaks here and there to make sure it is polished. Stay tuned for a release date, as well as a release date on the final version of Dungeon Diver!
